Women for Women International’s #SheInspiresMe Gala – held under the patronage of Sophie-Alexandra Princess of Bavaria – celebrates the inspiring power of women who change the world and provides a unique opportunity to share the situation of women in conflict zones. 

Join us at our 6th #SheInspiresMe Gala at Hotel Bayerischer Hof in Munich on 13th November 2025 to celebrate the strength of women and those who have contributed to the empowerment of women amidst an audience of inspiring guests.

Our Mission

Women for Women International supports marginalised women who have experienced war or conflict in rebuilding their lives.  

Since 1993, our work has reached over half a million women in Afghanistan, South Sudan, Rwanda, Kosovo, Iraq, Nigeria, Bosnia & Herzegovina, the Democratic Republic of Congo and Ukraine. In the spirit of helping women to help themselves, they have been able to overcome trauma and loss to create a better future for their children and themselves.   

Our one-year program teaches participants professional skills and economic basics. In this way, we support women in some of the world’s most dangerous regions to raise their voices and build a life of economic self-determination and social participation for themselves. 

The result: stronger women, stronger families and stronger communities.
